20| A HEART SHATTERED BEYOND REPAIR.

A week had passed.

Maya and Ishani had looked into every angle and followed every lead, but they still had no solid proof of Ishani’s innocence. Maya, determined not to quit, decided to take action. She would do what she did best—helping from the shadows. As Hacker Blue, she aimed to uncover the truth. But before she could begin, her own world fell apart.

The club buzzed with flashing lights, loud music, and the thick scent of alcohol. It was Abhimaan’s bachelor party, a night meant for celebration. Adranksh, never one to overindulge, sat apart from the chaos. His fingers moved over his phone as he sent a text to Maya.

"Be safe. Have fun." – Malyshka

"There's no fun without you, Maya." – Me

He sighed and slipped his phone back into his pocket.

Across the room, a shadow moved. A hand discreetly poured something into Adranksh’s drink before disappearing into the crowd. Minutes later, Adranksh downed his glass, deciding he’d had enough for the night. But as he headed toward his car, the world tilted. His vision blurred and his limbs felt heavy.

What is happening? His instincts screamed. Desperate, he dialed Dhruv’s number.

ā€œSir?ā€

ā€œTrack my phone,ā€ he slurred. ā€œI’ve… been drugged.ā€

Then, darkness enveloped him.

Unconscious, Adranksh was lifted carefully and placed into a car. The men moved him with precision, as if given specific orders not to harm him—just to deliver him. A grand mansion appeared as they arrived. He was carried inside and gently placed on a bed.

Heels clicked against the marble floor.

"Good job," a sultry voice purred. "Your payment will be transferred shortly."

The men nodded and left without a word.

Sharvari stepped forward, taking in the sight of him. Finally, Adranksh was where he belonged.

"You have no idea how long I've waited for this," she whispered, brushing her hand against his face.

Her smile turned bitter. "I hated watching you with that bitch Maya. You hurt me so much, my love."

She leaned down, her lips close to his ear. "But don’t worry. You won’t remember anything when you wake up."

A cruel laugh escaped her as she walked out of the room.

It was time to ruin him. Time to destroy everything he cared about.

Dhruv’s call sent Maya into a panic. She rushed to the club, desperate to find Adranksh. The receptionist, hesitant but sensing her urgency, led her to a dimly lit private room. The door was partly open.

And then—she heard it.

A sultry moan.

ā€œAdranksh… ahh… stop teasing me.ā€

Maya froze.

Her heart raced.

No. No, this isn’t real.

Trembling, she pushed open the door.

Inside, a man was on top of a woman, his bare back to her, his face turned slightly to the side. His physique, hair, and posture—all of it screamed Adranksh.

The world tilted.

Memories flooded her—all the times he looked at her, whispered her name, told her she was his world.

Her knees wobbled.

This can’t be my Ansh.

She clutched her chest, struggling to breathe. The pain was overwhelming—shattering, suffocating. Tears blurred her vision as she stumbled backward, her mind urging her to flee.

So, she did.

She ran.

Dhruv, searching for Adranksh, caught a glimpse of her retreating figure. Her face was streaked with tears, her expression one of complete despair. He hesitated for a moment, torn, but he knew his priority. He had to find Adranksh first.

The Rajput mansion stood silent and dark, reflecting the emptiness in Maya’s heart. She moved like a ghost, packing her things mechanically. She didn’t think. She didn’t cry. She just moved. Minutes later, she had erased every trace of herself from the place she once called home. No letters, no messages, no explanations. She left without a sound, stepping into the night as if she had never belonged there.

By the time the sun rose, Maya was gone.

By the time Adranksh woke up, his world would never be the same.

And by the time he realized what had truly happened, it would already be too late.
